Community Guidelines

• Disagree with ideas, not people. Personal attacks, name-calling and pile-ons aren't allowed.
• No harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation, in public posts or private messages.
• No hate speech or slurs based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.

• No sexually explicit content, nudity or links to adult content.
• No graphic violence, and no content that encourages self-harm.
• Profanity is filtered automatically. Please keep language appropriate for a community of parents.

• Never share another person's private information (address, phone number, school or schedule) without their permission.
• Think carefully before posting photos of children. Never post photos of other people's children without a parent's permission.
• Don't post screenshots of private messages without consent.

• Use your real identity. Fake accounts and impersonation aren't allowed, which is why we ask members to verify with Facebook before posting.
• Don't spread information you know is false or misleading, including about local businesses.
• Reviews and recommendations should reflect your real experience. If you own or work for a business you're recommending, say so.

• Local business owners are welcome to share helpful information when it's relevant, but repeated advertising, spam and unsolicited sales messages aren't allowed.
• No multi-level marketing recruiting, chain messages or giveaways run by members (giveaways are run by Fredericksburg Moms with our sponsors).
• No selling weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, prescription items, recalled products or anything illegal.

Only share photos and content you created or have permission to use. If you believe your copyrighted work was posted without permission, email info@fredericksburgmoms.com with the details described in our Terms.

• Tap Report on any post to send it to our team. Reports are confidential.
• Tap Block on a member's post or in your messages. You won't see their posts and they can't message you.
• If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 first.

We have zero tolerance for harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, threats and other abusive content. Depending on what happened, we may remove content without notice, issue a warning, limit posting, or suspend or permanently ban an account. Content involving the exploitation of children is reported to the appropriate authorities. We review reports as quickly as we can, typically within 24 hours.
