Terms of Service

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately at info@fredericksburgmoms.com if your account is compromised
• Not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person

Free membership is free and never charged.

Premium Annual Membership costs $34.00 per year, paid through PayPal. Your membership renews automatically every year at $34.00 (or the then-current price) until you cancel. You authorize us and PayPal to charge your payment method on each renewal date. Before you subscribe we show these renewal terms and ask you to agree to them, and after you subscribe we email you a confirmation with these terms and how to cancel.

Renewal reminders. We email you a reminder at least 14 days before each renewal. If the price ever changes, we will tell you before the change applies to your next renewal.

How to cancel. Cancel anytime in the app at Profile > Manage membership > Turn off auto-renewal. You can also cancel from your PayPal account or by emailing info@fredericksburgmoms.com. Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep Premium through the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account moves to the free membership.

Founding Members receive one year of Premium at no charge through a qualifying promo code. We will remind you before the complimentary year ends. You are never charged unless you choose to add a payment method; if you do, it renews at the then-current annual rate until you cancel.

Refunds. You may request a full refund within 7 days of any membership charge by emailing info@fredericksburgmoms.com. Charges are otherwise non-refundable, including partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise.

Group posts, replies, direct messages and profiles must follow our Community Guidelines, which are part of these Terms. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users, including harassment, hate speech, threats, sexually explicit content and anything that exploits or endangers children.

You can report content with the Report button and block members with the Block button. We filter objectionable language automatically, review reports promptly, and may remove content, limit features, or suspend or ban accounts without notice.

By submitting events, listings, posts, photos or other content you:

• Keep ownership of your content and grant Fredericksburg Moms LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, share and promote it within the app and on Fredericksburg Moms channels
• Confirm you own the content or have permission to share it, including permission from parents for any photos of children
• Agree the content does not violate any law or anyone else's rights

You agree not to use the app to:

• Post false, misleading, defamatory or harmful content
• Harass, threaten, bully or harm other members
• Share another person's private information without permission
• Spam or send unsolicited commercial messages
• Sell or promote illegal, dangerous or age-restricted items
• Scrape or reproduce directory content without permission
• Circumvent membership restrictions, filters or blocks, or share account access
• Violate any applicable law

By submitting or claiming a listing you confirm you have authority to represent the business and that the information is accurate. Fredericksburg Moms LLC does not verify, endorse or guarantee any listed business and may edit or remove any listing at any time.

Paid business features (such as Premium listings) are billed as described at checkout. Business purchases may be refunded within 7 days by emailing info@fredericksburgmoms.com.

When a member uses a "Get in touch" form on a listing, the name, email and message they enter are shared with that business. Businesses agree to use that information only to respond to the member and to honor any request to stop contacting them.

Deals are offered by local businesses, not by Fredericksburg Moms LLC. Businesses set and honor their own terms, and we are not responsible for a business that changes or declines an offer.

Giveaways are run by Fredericksburg Moms LLC, often with a sponsoring business. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Each giveaway has official rules covering eligibility, dates, how winners are chosen and the sponsor. If a giveaway shares entrant information with a sponsor, we tell you at the point of entry.

Email. We send account emails (such as confirmations, receipts and renewal reminders) to every member. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can change this anytime in your Profile.

Text messages. If you opt in to Fredericksburg Moms text alerts, you agree to receive recurring marketing text messages (such as local events, deals and giveaways) at the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or membership. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time; we will confirm by text and send no further marketing texts. Reply HELP for help, or email info@fredericksburgmoms.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We send marketing texts only between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Eastern time.

If you believe content in the app infringes your copyright, email info@fredericksburgmoms.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include: your contact information; a description of the copyrighted work; the location of the content in the app; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.

We will remove infringing content and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
